Mr. Rissanen is an entrepreneur involved in founding and/or developing a number of medical technology companies. Over the span of his career, he had over a dozen entities sold to public companies or go public such as Intermedics, Optical Radiation, and WebMD.
Mr. Rissanen's extensive knowledge of our business and history, experience as a board member of multiple publicy-traded and privately-held companies, and expertise in developing, financing and providing strong executive leadership to numerous companies contributed to our board of directors' conclusion that he should serve as the Chairman of the Board for our company.
Mr. Lusby co-founded Amendia, Inc. in 2007 and served as its President and also served as its Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Lusby lead the corporate finance and M&A team at Amendia which produced over $300 million in structured finance, corporate acquisitions, and private equity buy-out. Mr. Lusby was instrumental at developing a high-tech manufacturing organization, which utilizes robotic technology to significantly reduce manpower. Mr. Lusby was commissioned in 1984 as a Regular Army Lieutenant and graduated from Berry College in 1984, with a Degree in Business Administration and an emphasis in Finance.
Mr. Lusby is the Managing Partner of Frazier & Deeter’s Alpharetta office. Frazier & Deeter is the 56th largest CPA firm in the United States. He is also a member of the tax department in charge of coordinating tax and accounting services for our clientele. Roger Lusby graduated from Berry College in 1979, with a Bachelor of Science and has Masters of Taxation from Georgia State University.
Mr. Rozmajzl is a corporate and securities attorney specializing in corporate finance, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations. Mr. Rozmajzl has practiced law internationally in both law firm and in-house settings. Mr. Rozmajzl is a licensed attorney and CPA. Mr. Rozmajzl graduated from Miami University for undergraduate studies and Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Rozmajzl worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers specializing in international banking and financing.
Ms. Jackson is a corporate and litigation attorney specializing in mineral law acquisitions, reorganizations, defense and development. Born in Morgantown, West Virginia, mineral law has been the primary focus of her career. Ms. Jackson has practiced law in both law firm and in-house settings. Ms. Jackson is a licensed attorney in Kentucky and Pennsylvania. Ms. Jackson graduated from West Virginia University for undergraduate studies and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Edwards has served as the Chief Financial Officer of JRL Coal, Inc. since July 2017. Mr. Edwards has over 15 years of experience serving in various finance leadership positions at public and privately owned high growth companies. He has raised over $2 billion in debt and equity offerings in both private and public markets. Mr. Edwards is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and holds a Masters in Accountancy from East Carolina University.
Mr. Lewis has widespread knowledge of coal mining operations and organizations through decades of experience with coal companies including Mountainside Coal, Diamond Head Coal Sales, Chas Coal, LLC, Kentucky May Coal Company, Blue Diamond Coal Company. Mr. Lewis served in several capacities including coal broker, mine management, and shipment coordinator.
Mr. Quintrell manages all day-to-day mining activities and holds over 25 years of excavation and aggregate mining experience. Mr. Quintrell has owned and managed his own businesses, managing over 120 excavation machines. Mr. Quintrell owned and manages permanent and portable crushing and screening plants and hydraulic drills for blasting.
Mr. Dials has over 30 years of experience in accounting, finance and business operations in the energy i ndustry. Mr. Dials was actively involved in coal and fuel pricing, mine valuation and procurement and plant construction, specifically for East Kentucky Power Cooperative, Inc. and Browning Manufacturing Division Emerson Electric, Co.
